1 A shared goal (clear problem) “Why would people join, come back regularly, and contribute?”

A shared goal enables members to finally accomplish something they can’t achieve alone, drive stickiness and stimulate increasing network effects.

To succeed, the community needs a purpose beyond its existence.

A clear problem. (Painful, Urgent, Simple, Acknowledged)

Painfull. Hard to get (meaningful!) income.

Urgent. Finding dao-mentorship. Ease of onboarding.

Simply put. The community needs a #holobaker.

Acknowledged. We know a (holochain) dao can help.

“Why would people join, come back regularly, and contribute?”

Because they understand clearly the outcomes, they’ll get.

Because they feel an emotional connection with the project.

Because they see how they can be valuable and want to help.

Because they identify with the problem.

No need to fight every day to get support and engagement because one has a focus on solving the members’ problems. It’s much easier to attract someone to help you achieve a goal if they’re already trying to solve it themselves.

Active members are essential in any community as they make the overall community 10x more valuable.

Shaping a community members can’t help but contribute to.

Communication. Events. Appreciation.

Tag and hashtags are the easiest form to communicate with the lowest friction. (Clarity or other later?)

3. Processes for easy collaboration.

For members to collaborate, they better see the progress.

Members need to feel they’re actively working toward solving the problem daily.

That’s why the success of your community needs to give members control over future decisions and give them ownership over this shared goal.

And the easiest way to do so is to create an NFT Membership.

By requiring members to hold an NFT to access your community, you ensure every member owns a bite of the community and has in their wallet the virtual key that lets them vote on future strategic decisions.

With (shared) NFTs, everyone has the incentive to make it succeed. The upsides are shared, and the hard work members put into the community is reflected by the increasing value of their assets.
